Hello and welcome back! It's been a while - check out what I've been up to. :)

First of all, I've got to say: Waking up to the sunrise outside my open bedroom window, listening to the birdsong, and Flower snuggling next to me has got to be the BEST part of the warmer months. Plus, she adores perching to watch the world go by. How cute is she??
Next, a few significant life changes:
I started taking jiujitsu and judo classes!
I have a lovely, kind, handsome boyfriend who adores and is adored by Flower, can throw me and be thrown in judo, and loves driving with windows down and music loud just as much as I do (or more).
I got business cards printed, started a YouTube, and am officially taking commission work in sewing, crochet, and more.
I'll start with the martial arts. Back in November, I decided that I needed a physical outlet other than weightlifting all by my lonesome in my tiny apartment "gym," so I looked into local martial arts classes. Turned out, there is a dojo less than ten minutes from my apartment that has a $50/month fee which allows you to attend any of the dozen different classes they offer. And it's my new favorite hobby, despite the inevitable bruises that make people question my safety (see below).
The jiujitsu class that I attend has a system of learning and testing that allows students to move up in rank and earn a new color belt, from white all the way to black. At the end of March, I took and passed my test to earn my yellow stripe belt (one step up from white). Although the judo club isn't yet settled enough to have a similar system, that will happen soon too, which is exciting.
It just so happened that during one of the more casual classes, a friend of a friend showed up to join. He regularly went to the judo classes and was affectionately called "Crazy Judo Guy" by my friend. I'd never really interacted with him before, but the three of us clicked right away and started hanging out at the dojo after Friday classes. He and I started spending more time together and, well, I'll just say that it was very lucky that we both showed up to that Friday class.
I know he'll be reading this (hey darlin), but I'd also like to gush about him for a moment to everyone else.
This man treats me like a damn princess.
He'll sit me down with a heating pad on my bad pain days and walk Flower when I can barely get out of bed.
He plans fun little dates that are adaptable based on how we're both feeling emotionally and physically.
He's Flower's second favorite person and will happily play with her until she's tuckered out.
And look at how HANDSOME and CUTE he is!!

Alright, now that he's probably thoroughly embarrassed, rant over. For now.
Last in my list of updates: I am officially working on commissions from my little business, Treasures by T! The flow of requests is surprisingly consistent, with my projects ranging from garment construction and tailoring to quilting and crochet items. I am on the Thumbtack app, which is a great place for finding professionals for any task, as well as "advertising" via my website, Instagram, and YouTube.
Since you're here, let me know: what kinds of videos or posts might you be interested in? Want to see more follow-along videos or tutorial-style posts? Or just more dog pics? (Actually, who am I kidding, everyone needs more cute puppy pics. Here you go:)
That's all for right now - thanks for reading and following along on my little journey. I'm so happy you're here. :)
